Briana Spellerberg- Vice President
Briana is originally from Milnor, but she now resides on a farm outside of Lidgerwood with her husband, son, and dog. She is a registered nurse at Sargent County District Health Unit. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, outdoor activities, going to the lake, and farming with her husband.
Darci Weber- President
Darci originally from Milnor, and has lived in Sargent County most of her life. She is married, and has two little boys. Darci works for Sargent County Social Services.
Vanessa Bayger- Director
Vanessa is originally from Colorado. She moved to North Dakota with her husband and two little girls. Vanessa was a part of a youth mentoring program for 13 years. Vanessa currently works at Sargent County Sheriff's Department.
Brenda Peterson- Treasurer
Brenda is originally from Walhalla, ND. Brenda is married and has two kids in high school. Brenda is the administrator at Sargent County District Health Unit.
Mindie Bopp- Board Member
Mindie Bopp is from Forman, ND. She is married and has three kids. Mindie is a School Counselor and teacher at Sargent Central School. In Mindie's spare time she enjoys coffee, coca-cola, watching NDSU Bison Football, and playing golf with her husband, and spending time with family and friends.
Sasha Heiken- Board Member
Sasha is originally from Northern Illinois, but now resides in Forman, ND with 3- four legged fur-kids and her sweetheart. Sasha enjoys outdoor activities, a good cup of coffee and learning new things. Sasha is the K-12 School Counselor at Milnor Public School.
About True Direction
“True Direction’s Mentoring Program was created to empower youth in Sargent County to reach their full social, emotional, physical, and academic potential by providing positive role models, promoting friendships in youth, and providing the resources necessary to succeed in life”
Become a part of a life changing experience. "It takes a village to raise a child." Be a part of that child's village! Volunteer to become a mentor, refer a child to the mentoring program, or donate to the program.
The idea of a mentoring program originated by Vanessa and Darci. The idea was shared with Brenda, and the program vision became a reality! True Direction is a Non-profit 501(c)(3) program. The program board along with the Director are very excited to share such a life changing experience with the county, and hope to see it become very successful! :)
